Day 1 - 5: Fly London to Sal
Arrive Sal Island in Cape Verde Islands on direct flight form UK (Other county departure points also available). For the first 6 nights you will staying at the superb Morabeza Hotel right on the main Santa Maria beach. There is a Windsurf, Kitesurf and diving school right next to the hotel. Sal is mostly a beach resort with some of the best Windsurf, Kitesurf and diving facilities of all the islands apart from Boa Vista. The beach of Santa Maria has a good choice of nice small but good hotels including one of our favourites, the Morabeza hotel. The town offers a few nice spots to eat out and a couple of bars that get quite lively from Thursday to Sunday. There is little else on Sal Island but it does have a good network of flights tot eh other islands.
Day 6 - 11: Fly Sal to Boa Vista
Early morning flight from Sal Island to Boa Vista Island for 5 nights at the charming Canicola Aparthotel. This privately owned lovely little property is perfectly positioned a short walk from the Twon of Sal Ria and also right next to the main Windurf / Kitesurf / SUP centre. For those looking for more advanced wave sailing conditions we suggest moving to the Decameron Hotel (please ask when enquirying for first hand advice on the best hotel).
Boa Vista island has the most stunning beaches to be found on the Islands and is less developed that Sal in terms of tourism. Like Sal there are some first class Windsurf, Kitesurf and Diving facilities with a better range for conditions from very flat to big waves. Boa Vista has some beautiful small villages to visit as part of a day tour around the Island. There is a good range of accommodation from beach from t all-inclusive resorts spread out along the west coast to small town hotels for a more authentic Cape Verdian feel.
Day 12: Fly Boa Vista to London (via Sal)
An early morning flight back to Sal Island with a day room at the Morabeza hotel. Later afternoon flight home.
