Ibiza is an island for all seasons and the best time to practice land or water activities is off season, when the crowd has gone and the pace of the island has quietened down ! The resort and its exclusive services is an oasis to enjoy Ibiza 365 days a year, in the heart of the the "Magic Island". Ibiza is one of the most original and attractive islands in the World. Without ever loosing its charm as a peaceful hideaway, Ibiza has become a cosmopolitan meeting point of the swinging jet set and artists from all over the world.
The island was made famous at the end of the sixties by the hippies, which endowed the Ibiza with the status of a counter culture paradise. Although Ibiza is now somewhat ill famed for its clubbing, the island has remained a quiet and peaceful place, free from mass tourism which has affected so many other Mediterranean destinations. The island has retained its "bohemian" charm and ancient Carthaginian influences, with its exotic white-washed cubic houses reminiscent of North Africa.
Ibiza is only a 2.5 hour flight away, and the transfer to San Antonio Bay only takes 25 minutes. That also makes Ibiza a perfect long weekend getaway.. Part of the Balearic Islands, Ibiza and its smaller sister island of Formentera are known as the "Islas Pitiusas" (from the Greek word "pitys" meaning pine tree) because of the abundance of pines that cover their landscapes. A green and pristine setting surrounded by crystal clear waters and blessed by a balmy Mediterranean climate with sunny days and mild temperatures throughout the year.
The island is also rich in history, going back to the Phoenicians, and offers plenty of opportunity for cultural visits, excursions and sightseeing. The old walled town of Ibiza and the narrow strait separating the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, are both listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites for their cultural and natural values. A short 30 min. crossing away, Formentera is known as "The Last Paradise of the Mediterranean”. The soul of resort is Water Sports, from Surf, SUP (Stand-Up-Paddle), kitesurf and windsurf, to wakeboard, wakesurf, waterskiing, jetski, diving, sailing, kayak, canoe, apnea, swimming, as well as boat charter or deep sea fishing.
A SUP holiday in Ibiza consists mainly of exploring the stunning island, being guided around the coast, discovering coves, and small islands.

KIDS
Ibiza is a perfect place also for kids to learn SUP, along with other sports like windsurfing. In the morning usually the winds are light and therefore great even for the smallest kids. The combination of special trained instructors, shallow warm water, light winds and special kids equipment let kids improve very quickly. And the water is always calm, with lots of trips that the kids can also take part in.
THE NIGHT LIFE
There are several bars and restaurants all within walking distance in San Antonio Bay. Ibiza has one of the highest ratio of fine restaurants in Spain, with a stunning offer for such a small place ranging from traditional island recipes, Spanish specialities and innovative Mediterranean cuisine to French, Italian, Arabic and Oriental gastronomy, paying tribute to its cosmopolitan reputation.
For those who do want to sample the delights of Cafe Del Mar or Eden in San Antonio these are just a short ferry, bus or taxi ride away. Or all the other club highlights of the island such as Pacha, Amnesia and Space can be reached by one of the special buses in high season or bus/taxi in low season.
